The Krishi Vigyan Kendra has very well developed administrative building having classrooms, conference room, Training hall, Computer room and Museum. The Training hall and class room are well furnished & are supported by the audiovisual aids. Museum having number of specimen and charts.

Farmer's hostel and Staff Quarter

Farmer's hostel is available with 18 room and each room is well furnished.it include two bed in each room and other facility like water cooler,geyser,two VIP room,kitchen etc.

KVK has constructed six staff quarters for staff residency and possession is given to staff

Farm

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra having 20 ha. of land that is fully under cultivation of crops relevant to the area. The main purpose of the farm is to demonstrate the latest agricultural practices. It also acts as a tool to do applied research on agricultural Technologies & undertake trials before their transfer to farmers. The farm has wide collection of mother plants of latest released varieties of horticulture plants. Rain water harvesting has been done over 40 acres of farm land the tank of 86,00,000 lits Capacity is made to collect the rain water thus harvested. The farm has nursery with mother plants of horticulture crops such as mango, sapota, aonla, lime, Guava, custard apple, pomegranate etc. the entire farm is under drip irrigation.

Library

We have library with about 176 titles for different subjects covered in training and other extension activities for transfer of latest technology and other allied subject as bellows. We have about 56 CDs related to agriculture, Animal Husbandry and other topic coveredin the KVK activities

Vermicompost Unit

We have developed Vermi compost unit in KVK Farm. it is used for demonstration purpose and production of unit are utilised for farm and Nursery.

Ornament of our KVK – Nursery:

The nursery of our campus is the born place of Krishi Vigyan Kendra. Before initiation of KVK, Foundation has started Nursery in the 2002 as part of Krishi Vikash Kendra which was managed by the Mehsana District Education Foundation. The prime objective of their :

To grow seedling as required by the farmers of surrounding village
To grow seedling for the afforestation development programme of MDEF
To demonstrate various practices to the visiting farmers.

The KVK was sanction in 2005 and after that Nursery was transfer under administrative control of KVK from MDEF. Now we have large scale nursery in about 0.5 ha area. About 75000 seedling raising capacity have been developed with pakka agronet shed with sprinkler and fogger. In addition to that one germination chamber and vermi compost unit have been developed for demonstration purpose.
