Feedback and farmers' reaction

  Technical Feedback Farmers' reaction
Castor (FLD)
  • GCH-7has loose spike, but farmers prefers compact spike
  • As more branches in GCH-7, revised spacing may be recommended.
  • GCH-7 Variety is preferred by farmers in wilt affected areas
Mustard (FLD)
  • Parasite weed (Orobanche) is affecting severely
  • G.M-3 variety is an early maturing, bold seeded and high yielding.
  • Sulphur element applied as basal dose enhance yield of mustard.
Greengram (FLD) --
  • Variety G.M-4 is Good as compared to other variety.
  • Leaf spot disease is managed by seed treatment with Carbendenzim
  • Application of chemical fertilizer give higher yield.
Castor (Component) --
  • Tricoderma Viride application minimize the wilt disease in castor.
Cumin (Component) --
  • Sulphur application increases the yield & quality of cumin as well as minimizes the Powdery Mildew disease.
Wheat (Component)
  • GW-322 variey is no as good as GW-496 for chapati making.
  • Grain luster is not good as GW-496
  • Market price of GW-322 is less as compared to GW-496.
  • Rust was not observed in this variety.
  • Grain production is more as compared to other variety.
